Ahmed Rahmy is currently the General Manager of ALEF Bookstores, proactively managing the brand performance on a strategic as well as operational level, leading a large operational team as well as managing the relationship with stakeholders.
Before being ALEF’s General Manager, Ahmed was proactively involved in the foundation and establishment of ALEF brand concept, strategic directions, and operations participated in founding and building ALEF’s concept, strategies, and operations.
Prior to ALEF Bookstores, Ahmed worked as a Management and Strategy Consultant for 2.5 years in different projects in the Middle East with SKOPOS Management Consulting. Ahmed was leading several business and management projects in Egypt and was engaged in diversified assignments in the MENA region.
Before SKOPOS, Ahmed was a Consultant in LOGIC MANAGEMENT CONSULTING where he worked on different projects in the Middle East for different SME’s as well as engaging in several assignments for high authority governmental entities.
Before the consulting field, Ahmed worked for 4 years in the field of Marketing and Business Development in SAHM Group. Ahmed’s engagements entailed the development and implementation of the HR and fleet management software in large multinationals such as SCHLUMBERGER, AIR LIQUID, TNT, and others.
Ahmed holds a Licentiate of Law, Ain Shmas University.
